XYMotion™ CEO Davin Burke wants to hit the ground running, joining CAMA's Workforce Development Committee. CAMA and Davin will work with the Governor's Office to bring Business and Schools in Collaboration (BASIC), a successful Swiss model of workforce development, to Colorado. BASIC embraces the idea that businesses should lead the effort to prepare tomorrow's workforce. In a recent conversation with CAMA, CEO Davin Burke says "BASIC encompasses everything that XYMotion and CAMA are about. I am enthusiastic that BASIC will pave the way to a successful school-to-workforce transition."
It is apparent that CAMA is driven by members that have a deep vested interest in the successes of Colorado manufacturing. Companies, including Bryan Construction, Recon Logistics, and Fastenal, have joined CAMA because they also know the importance of Colorado manufacturing. With a common goal of advancing manufacturing in the state of Colorado and creating an atmosphere for successful business operations, XYMotion™ is excited to join forces with CAMA at the Champion Bronze level.
